Life gets hard and when this happens the most important thing we can do is reach out to someone for help. My goal is to provide a safe therapeutic atmosphere where my clients feel comfortable. I engage with my clients to identify what they want to work on and transform within themselves and will support them on their path to get them there.

I have had community-based experiences with middle school-aged children and adolescents in my previous positions. Many of those experiences have included working on how to cope with depression, anxiety and trauma, as well as managing emotions around challenges in a client’s school, home, and social life. I have found it is important to encourage children and adolescents to recognize what they want and what motivates them. As a result of this experience, I have furthered my professional learning in order to find successful strategies and will specifically use a strength-based and person-centered approach in my sessions.
