About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that specializes in supporting men and women that are currently struggling with life transitions (marriage, divorce, high school to college, pregnancy, etc.); family systems that have difficulty implementing boundaries or struggle with their communication styles; and couples that would benefit from therapeutic support to further the progression in their relationship.

I have extensive experience working with clients that struggle with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, interpersonal conflicts, fertility issues, substance abuse, self-esteem, domestic violence and trauma-related symptoms (physical, sexual, emotional) in inpatient and outpatient settings. I as well explore with my clients how environmental and biological factors impact their overall emotional and mental wellbeing.

I utilize multiple therapeutic approaches in sessions (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution focused Brief Therapy, etc.) and customize treatment techniques to the individual and their specific needs. My approach is to encourage clients to identify their objectives for treatment and areas in their lives that they could further strengthen with support.

I value my role as a therapist to be able to show my clients the strengths that they possess and how to become in tune to their emotional needs and goals. I strongly believe that human beings are extremely resilient and always have the opportunity to make positive decisions in their lives to further their personal growth.
